ENTREPRENEURSHIP & MONEY MANAGEMENT ECOSYSTEM
At KIMS, we believe that entrepreneurship and money management are essential life skills that can be nurtured from an early age. Our Entrepreneurship Ecosystem provides young learners with hands-on experiences, helping them develop the confidence, creativity, and resourcefulness needed to succeed in a rapidly evolving world.
KIMS CURRENCY & KIMS BANK
Within our school, students earn KIMS coins by working and selling their goods, instilling in them the understanding that money is gained through effort and ingenuity. They can deposit and withdraw their coins at the KIMS Bank, giving them a realistic experience of financial transactions. Through budgeting, saving, and spending, students learn the fundamental principles of responsible money management.
KIMS HARVEST MARKET
From tending fruit and vegetable plots to collecting eggs from the hen house, students engage in a complete production cycle. They package, market, and sell these products to the community at the KIMS Harvest Market. This immersive process teaches them the value of their work, guides them in setting fair prices, and helps them develop customer service and communication skills.
PRODUCT DESIGN & DEVELOPMENT
In our Maker Lab, students bring their ideas to life using 3D printers. They learn to create and refine products, gaining insight into the design process and the importance of innovation. This hands-on exploration encourages them to adapt and problem-solve, ensuring they understand how to meet real-world needs creatively.
COMMUNITY-BASED SALES & MARKETING
By setting up flea markets to sell their produce and products, students connect with the wider community. They learn to market their goods effectively, handle customer feedback, and adapt their strategies to achieve better results. Through this authentic interaction, they gain vital communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
At KIMS, our Entrepreneurship Ecosystem goes far beyond traditional academic lessons. By earning money, learning to manage it, designing products, and selling them to the community, students build a strong foundation in entrepreneurship and financial literacy. Ultimately, this approach empowers them to face the future confidently, equipped with the skills and mindset to thrive in a global economy.
